Loud thunder struck sky, pouring down the dense shower of rain beginning to freeze me. Every drop on my body created a sense of numbness as if time is slowing down. I took shelter under the canopy front of the nearby shop. Engrossed in thinking about a hectic day at a work place, I hardly noticed kids crossed me rushing towards the puddle of water on the road. My attention was driven towards them when heard loud giggling and sounds of water splash. Astonished to see them playing in that cold water with the bare feet and having clothes on their body, not fit for the cold weather. Suddenly, I began to hear a quick heart tempt to feel every drop of the rain with a lighter burden of the dark clouds created by my own perception of happiness. I realized it’s our own choice, to make each situation either depressing or the happiest.
