It’s not every day you come across a piece of writing that captures the essence of childhood wonder and imagination. My 8-year-old nephew’s blog post, ‘The VR Simulation – The Return,’ does just that. Get ready to embark on an extraordinary adventure in virtual reality, crafted by a young mind full of dreams and ideas. Please read below and enjoy!

Take a verbal simulation on this excellent 7 hour journey to London Gatwick. Imagine yourself buying a model plane and hearing the call for gate C11 (my gate).
It is 6:30AM and you are tired like ,it is you are purposely squinting your eyes staring at cake sleepily. Experience a short boarding in the heart of Dubai. As you board, you are welcomed by your lovely flight attendants ready to serve you with coffee, food, and their hospitality to treat you. Now, this might sound like first class but it is actually economy. So your seat is in a weird position. Folding IFE, tray table (also folding),little recline, and etc.
Fast forward to when it is breakfast time and you are watching one single movie. You didn’t feel like eating so you ate very little food and just tried sleeping in the chair. In every single posture, you could not sleep no matter what the situation. Now onto when we start descending to the runway, the first officer says ‘’We are starting our descent into London Gatwick, the weather today is a bit cloudy, nine degrees out here. Anyway, please buckle up your seat belts and enjoy the view!”
The plane swoops out banking to the right and… Oof, that hurt! We landed in the UK! Expect a lot of waiting for immigration and luggage reclaim (if you even have any heavy luggage) , go through customs, and there you have it! Your VR Simulation is complete!
