Never Say Never

I adopted this little angel a few months ago, and I’ve come to realize it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was never a cat person. In fact, I used to judge people who adopted cats, based purely on my own assumptions. I believed that cats loved places more than people… and that those who adopted them were the same. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This little soul has shown me what quiet companionship, trust, and unconditional love truly look like.

I named her MilLi, my little life charm. She has the most amazing energy; even her hugs feel healing and fill me with happiness. Whenever I come home, she follows me everywhere I go. We’re building a bond that’s hard to put into words, something only I can truly feel. To me, she’s not just a pet anymore; she’s family. This little angel has made me realize something profound that we, as humans, are always evolving.

That’s why I’ve come to realize some crucial truths about how we humans evolve over the course of our lives. With every passing minute, day, week, month, and year, our minds continue to grow and are shaped by our experiences, circumstances, and the people we encounter. It’s much like how we build our muscles in the gym, a truly beautiful phenomenon.
The difference, however, is that resistance strengthens our muscles, while resistance from life or people can sometimes break us. The key is to adapt to the changes we face and embrace the lessons those experiences are meant to teach us. Just as we find a new route when the road ahead is blocked, we too must keep moving forward toward our destination.

As we evolve, we should truly appreciate the way life have shaped us and we should learn to take pride in the journey, not just the destination.
